Degrees and education:
2008 Ph.D. from the University of Southern Denmark with the thesis Sensing Movement, Living Spaces - An investigation of movement based on the lived experience of 13 professional dancers.
2003 Optional subject (BA level) in The History and Aesthetics of Dance, University of Copenhagen.
1992 Master’s thesis (’Cand. Scient. Speciale’) in Physical Education, the University of Copenhagen. The master was combined with a subsidiary in Applied Visual Communication, the University of Southern Denmark.

- Has been the co-adviser for 1 PhD student Ole Lund (2009-2012): How is apprenticeship learning conducted in elite sport? - Developing expertise through "peer-learning" in rowing, trampoline and handball, at IOB, SDU. Associate prof. Mette Krogh Christensen was the main supervisor for the project.
